I’ve been an educator since 1995. I still get excited butterflies in my tummy as I see the stores stocking up on Back to School supplies. What excites me even more? Thinking of how fun it’ll be to sort and label all our discount school supply pencils, pens, markers, notebooks, stationery, erasers… Well, you get the idea.
What doesn’t give me that excited butterflies-in-my-tummy feeling? Thinking about schlepping three little kids to several stores around town over several trips to buy discount school supply products and household items.
Our family’s solution? Simple.
We head straight to Walmart to stock up on both school supplies and our favorite household brands.
I can find all the Back to School goodies we need and stock up on all the paper towels, Kleenex, and toilet paper we need to kick off our Back To School routine like pros.
Better yet? Walmart offers our favorite Box Tops for Education brands.
That’s right! By clipping and returning Box Tops from specially-marked packages of Kimberly-Clark products, you help earn 10¢ cents per Box Top for your school of choice. Before I had kids, I collected and turned in Box Tops to my teacher-friends’ schools. FREE money for schools? It’s a no-brainer.
As you cruise Walmart for your Back to School products, be sure to keep an eye out for the specially-marked “Back To School” packages of Kimberly Clark products. They’re in special Back-to-School packaging and offer “Bonus” or “Double” Box Tops for Education.
See? Like these…
All three of our kiddos’ schools runs Box Tops for Education collection campaigns. Funding from Box Tops ensures our kids receive the supplies and technology they need to be successful learners. With the ever-growing budget cuts in schools, you know every little bit helps. When we see double Box Tops, we get stoked!
One last tip: every teacher appreciates receiving extra boxes of Kleenex to start off the school year. Stock up now while the Back to School prices are live. You’re welcome. 😉
